Majors Mobility offers two and three position recliners that gently lift to help you stand on your own. We have economy models to fit every budget and luxury models to suit every taste, with twelve different models on display in our Scarborough and Topsham showrooms. We are proud to feature (Pride Mobility) lift chairs, the best in the business. We have wall-hugging recliners, recliners that convert to a bed for sleeping, even a recliner that has a removable arm for easy transfers in and out. Our lift chairs have emergency battery back-up
in case of power failure and come in a variety
of beautiful fabrics, many in-stock for immediate
delivery. Available options include heat, massage, lumbar
pillows, head pillows, and left-hand controls. NOTE TO MEDICARE RECIPIENTS: If you have Medicare, part of the chair may be covered if you need a lift chair to help you stand, are unable to stand from a regular chair, and once standing you are able to walk. Medicare will only cover the lifting mechanism (about $ 340.00 allowable of which Medicare will pay 80%), not the price of the entire chair; there will be an out-of-pocket expense to you. A Medicare form; a Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) completed and signed by your physician will be required to submit your claim for reimbursement. We can help with this and all the other paperwork to make it as easy on you as possible. The typical process for obtaining a lift chair through Medicare goes like this:
