We accept insurance assignment for Medicare, MaineCare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and many other insurance claims. Call us for more information and to see if your insurance provider is included. Different insurance companies require different types of medical documentation. Sometimes a doctors prescription is enough, for other items a certificate or letter of medical necessity may be required. Some insurance carriers require that certain items be pre-approved while others offer no pre-authorization option. If You Have (MEDICARE): We are very experienced in billing Medicare; call us and we will process all the paperwork requirements with Medicare and your physicians. If you have Medicare as a primary insurance carrier and also have a secondary or “medi-gap” policy, there may be little or no out of pocket expense to you for covered medical equipment. If you have MaineCare (MEDICAID): Many items must be submitted for prior authorization; call us for more information on how the process works.
